According to the characteristics of pharmaceutical wastewater of high COD and high ammonia nitrogen, Morlans has optimized design on the basis of conventional AO aeration basin, has established multi-point influent two-grade AO aeration basin process, and has made influent COD concentration and ammonia nitrogen concentration in the aeration basin reach 5000 mg/l and 500mg/l respectively. After treatment, water quality can reach COD<500mg/l, and ammonia nitrogen<25mg/l. 

At the same time, Morlans is working on shortcut nitrification of high ammonia nitrogen wastewater and engineering of anaerobic ammonia oxidation, in order to further improve the removal rate of ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen, and to decrease the processing cost of ammonia nitrogen.
